A Question

Do you pronounce the word "squirrel" with and "-er" or an "-ear"?

  1. -er. Other times an -ehr

  2. I find myself using -ear a lot recently. I think it comes from listening to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy a bit too much, though.

  6. It's not in the book, or anything. It's just that in the both Arthur and Random pronounce it with an -ear in one of the last radio shows. I don't know if that's the official HGG way of pronouncing it. Maybe it's just the way all mad Brits say it.
