My comforter is falling apart. In the late night/early morning hours I woke up to find my arm twisted up on the inside of my comforter (like between the fluff innards and the flannel skin). I nearly stripped the bed when I tried to slide out.
I think I'm going to have to buy a new one this weekend. So much for hoping it would last through the winter months.
I had to patch mine the other day ... Damn fluffy down created an allergen snow flurry every time we moved.
ReplyDeleteWinter?
ReplyDeleteHa!
AE -- Fortunately, mine is just fluff, not feather.
ReplyDeleteJazz -- Hey, winter is December 21 to March 20 here just like it is 3000ish miles away over there.
Hey, you should tell your mommy! You know she'll buy you one!
ReplyDeleteI thought it would last the winter, so I didn't bother saying anything. Now I have a new one. It's not flannel, though, so it's not as comforting.
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me of the Silky Blanket I adopted from the parents. I used it until it was more holes and fluff than silk. ~sigh~
