I moved my MySpace bile blogs over here because I'm killing my account there. I'm also killing my Friendster account and my Facebook account.
In time, I may rejoin one or all of them, but that won't happen until I actually think there's a use for them.

Click on the tag "hate MySpace" at the bottom of this post and you'll see them. Including the one that I already posted here a couple of months ago.
My myspace is useful just to get to my friends' pages. I have two friends that don't blog and put all their pictures on myspace instead of flickr or elsewhere. Also one of those even does all her correspondence through her myspace messaging. She seems to think her e-mail account is only for forwarding crap.
And I left a comment on the last post. I've been busy and tired for a few days and haven't been "getting around."
Geewits -- I've been telling myself the same things about MySpace as you are. In the end, I just got tired of it and it's ads and the bulletins and the weird e-mail. I figure that, for most of the people on MySpace, there pictures are still public, so I'll be able to look.
Not that I'm trying to convince you to delete your account. If you get something out of MySpace then it's good to keep it. I wasn't getting anything worth keeping.
