Disappointed

Three weeks ago, I wanted to know what books those of you who occasionally peruse this space enjoy rereading and I only got one response.

Last week, I wanted to read some jokes from those of you who occasionally peruse this space, and I only got one response.

It's just sad that five or six of you out of the six or seven who visit don't reread books or know any jokes.

Poor dear... in my defense though, I was on vacation for those posts.

The one book I re-read regularly is LOTR (well that's 3 actually, isn't it).

OH, and while I was away, I got Good Omens back. And finished it, and will read it again. And I LOVE Dog.

I knew you were gone. I didn't count you as one of the six or seven for those posts.

Eek! I've been so freaking busy with my new job, I totally forgot to comment! Sorry.

I have re-read the Hyperion series several times. I also love reading Cryptonomicon. Actually, I enjoy re-reading just about anything by Neil Stephenson. And, though I'm not entirely proud to admit it, I have read the James Herriot books WAY too many times. I guess I'm a sucker for vet/animal stories.

Here's one of my favorite jokes:

Q: How do you make a hankie dance?
A: You put a little boogie in it!

Gosh, I love that joke. It always makes me giggle.

You poor thing. The only thing to do when ppl ignore you, is to send them explosives in the mail. Unless they have a good excuse. Like mine, for example: I was busy freaking out about my exams.

The last book I read was about calculus, and I can't really recommend that... I'm trying to find time to read "heartshaped box" by Joe Hill, though.

Heels, allow me to say, about the joke, BOOOOO! HISSSS! But I mean than in the good way because I did snicker when I read it. It's still a bad joke though.

Choochoo, it's not about people ignoring me, really. At least I don't think it is. I think it's more about people not wanting to share. I could be wrong though.

I know, and that's why I love it so. I think I got it off of a popsicle stick.
